BOKX – Neue Orte für Bücher
BOKX ist ein Bücherschrank für den öffentlichen Raum. Wer Bücher zu verschenken hat, stellt sie hinein, wer Bücher lesen möchte, nimmt sie heraus. In Ergänzung zu Bibliotheken und Buchläden baut BOKX in Bonn, Frankfurt und Köln erfolgreich auf Bürgerengagement in Form von Patenschaften. Mit den Bürgerstiftungen der Stadt Köln (Projekt „Eselsohr“) wird im Rahmen der PASSAGEN erstmalig das Modell BOKX 02 in der neuen Kölner Edition vorgestellt.
BOKX is a bookcase for public spaces: Put a book in as a gift or take one out to read. As a complement to libraries and bookstores, BOKX successfully banks on the commitment of citizens in the form of sponsorship in Bonn, Frankfurt and Cologne. With city citizens foundations (Project “Dog-Ear”), the new Cologne edition of the model BOKX 02 is making its debut.
